Fujitsu products, services, solutions, and awards…

This has been another busy month for Fujitsu. During this period, we have announced awards and new storage and server solutions. We also attended a couple of industry shows where it's very possible we ran into some of you. In this newsletter, we deliver news and stories on several topics.
A couple of kudos are in order this month. The PRIMERGY TX120 S2 server received a Best in Show award at FOSE 9 Federal Office Systems Exposition). In addition, Matt McManus Vice President of Channel Sales at Fujitsu America, was named a 2010 Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN.

We have a lot of news on the storage and server front. The new UDS 3000 is a powerful storage solution that simplifies storage deployment, provisioning, and management. In related storage news, Fujitsu has announced scalable file services for the ETERNUS line that allows organizations to build a high-performance, file-based storage infrastructure using proven technology from Fujitsu and Symantec Corp.

In server news, Fujitsu announced earlier this month the new PRIMERGY CX1000 server that was designed from the ground up to deliver as much computing power as possible per square foot, at the lowest-possible price. Last month, it was announced that the PRIMERGY® TX150 S7 all-round mono socket server, the most energy-efficient server in its class, set a new SPECpower® ssj2008 world record.

You will learn how the Fujitsu self-service health care kiosks are making the medical visit a little less stressful for the patient and more efficient for the administrator. We also present the latest issue of the Fujitsu Scientific and Technical Journal, and introduce the latest exciting video installment by yours truly.

We hope you find something that piques your interest in this edition of Bridging the Gap, and hope you will contact us with any suggestions you might have for the newsletter.
