This month’s Bridging the Gap focuses primarily on the Fujitsu® mobile product line. This month marks the release of Intel®’s new Santa Rosa product, which is the latest Centrino™ mobile platform, combining core logic, CPU, and networking improvements. In this issue, we also provide several case studies that illustrate how mobile Fujitsu computers (particularly Tablet PCs) are being used to help reduce paperwork, increase productivity, and improve data accuracy in a variety of industries. Mobile solutions are increasingly being adopted by healthcare, insurance, education, and government because of the dramatic benefits they offer. You’ll read about how a large insurance company uses Tablet PCs to significantly reduce its claims paperwork while delivering faster and more accurate data. You’ll also learn how a private New Jersey high school adopted the Fujitsu Tablet PC to give its students a head start on the computer skills they will need in college.
Along with mobile computing news, you’ll read about recent announcements such as network attached storage (NAS) connectivity powered by NetApp® storage virtualization technology with ETERNUS®4000 and ETERNUS®8000 storage systems. Additionally, you’ll learn about how the addition of the new Fujitsu SPARC Enterprise™ servers deliver on the Fujitsu strategy and commitment to offering the broadest choice of platforms and best customer service in the industry.
We hope you’ll enjoy this latest installment of Bridging the Gap, and we sincerely hope you will contact us with any suggestions on how we can improve the newsletter.
