Fujitsu Computer Systems, along with Fujitsu-Siemens, Fujitsu Consulting and FCPA, participated in this year’s Oracle OpenWorld as part of the Fujitsu Group. OOW was held in San Francisco October 22 – 26. We used this event to announce FlexFrame™ for Oracle (1.0B) to the event’s 42,000 visitors, launching this solution into the US market. FlexFrame for Oracle will be available in the first half of 2007 in the United States. FlexFrame for Oracle has been available for several months in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). 

 

The speaker session, “FlexFrame for Oracle: Adaptive Infrastructure Solution for Oracle Database and Oracle Application Server 10g” was met with keen interest and led to approximately 20 demonstrations of FlexFrame for Oracle at our booth. Overall, the feedback was exceptionally positive. 

 

In addition to the interest generated by FlexFrame for Oracle, we enjoyed a tremendous amount of activity at our booth. The booth was well situated in the front of the hall, along with the highest level sponsoring vendors (e.g., Sun, EMC and CapGemini). We’ve selected the same placement for OOW 2007.
