Farhat Ali has succeeded Toshio Morohoshi as President and CEO of Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation, effective July 1, 2006. Toshio Morohoshi has been promoted to the newly created position of corporate vice president and executive officer of Fujitsu Limited. Ali was COO and CFO of Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation before being named as Morohoshi’s successor.

In his new role, Morohoshi is responsible for worldwide marketing, underscoring the global company’s commitment to accelerating growth in North America. For the past three years, Ali has worked alongside Morohoshi in making Fujitsu Computer Systems one of the best-performing subsidiaries of Fujitsu Limited. Ali spent 20 years with Amdahl Corporation in a variety of senior management positions and joined Fujitsu in 2000.
